Watercolor (32 X 20)"
Artists Comment:
My granddaughter wanted to be a gymnast. She was about 11 or 12 at the time.
We talked about becoming a gymnast, and as we did, we made sketches of her
dreams. She was talking about how scary it would be to perform before an
audience and judges. I then coated her hands and feet with acrylic paint
and she performed the Perfect Back-Flip on my canvas. The remainder of the
painting is the synthesis of her sketches and mine. As she grew older, her
interests changed and she did not follow her dream.
