Artists Comment:
After studying the paste-up, a composition about brothers playing seemed to dominate. I think this all goes back to the time when me and my brother were growing up.

This is a detail of the red boys right hand. In this painting each layer is of a different color. The background is yellow, the near background is green, the far boy is red, and the foreground boy is blue. This is intended to give depth without using perspective, and modeling.
