Have you looked at some of my earlier painting that are Minimalist in nature?
This painting consists of a textured background using plaster on MDO board.
The background paint is applied in my usual chaotic method. The figure consists
of four lines which to me conveys the essence of a ballerina or dancer. When
I look at it I feel the tension, perfection and excitement just as if I were
the dancer. This is a perfect example of "Less is More".

I think you can see the chaotic development of the background. The detail shows the dancer's head and part of the left arm. I am trying very hard to develop the characteristics of my line. I would like to be able to construct my line in the manner of the great oriental brush painters. That is the sensuous use of gesture, thickness, variation, color and density of line.
