Artists Comment:
This picture is an attempt to explore Hieroglyph like shapes. The painting surface
is constructed in my usual chaotic way. Then I started painting shapes according
to a general plan that I had sketched out. I tried to create interlocking shapes
and variation. The finished painting has a jewel like appearance that I like.
Of coarse I had to add dabs of jewel like colors that you will find on most
of my paintings.
