Artists Comment:
We feel betrayed when something we have lovingly made is used in an uncaring
way. Sometimes, we do not know how much we are hurting those that
love us. I know that some of the things that I did hurt my parents.
We seem to learn from the bad things we do. A Taoist philosopher might
say that you can't know what is right until you know what is wrong.

This painting is done much the same way as the others. However, I am trying to exercise more restraint in the selection of paste-on items. This requires more concentration and meditation in the succeeding steps, because there is less to work with. Maybe in the future, I'll be able to access the subconscious without relying on the suggestions that exist on the painting surface.
