The Princeton Iowa
Studio

Artist Comment;
I like wide open spaces for routine painting. However, for the creative parts,
I like intimate closed spaces. I have a six foot wide eight foot long space
on Marco Island that I use for this purpose. This space does not have any
windows and is very quiet. It has florescent lights that simulate daylight.
While in Iowa, I use a portion of my basement shop to concentrate on the
creative aspects of painting. I find that a limited space connects
me better with my paintings and helps the creative juices flow. I do most
of my most creative work in this kind of space.
